NOW THAT’S A GREAT PUMPKIN!
PUGET SOUND BUSINESS JOURNAL OCTOBER 20-26, 2006
A Rhode Island farmer says SoilSoup helped him grow a record-breaking pumpkin. Farmer Ron Wallace said that fresh SoilSoup, a type of liquid organic fertilizer, helped him grow a 1,502 pound pumpkin. That’s heavier than the Guinness World Record for largest pumpkin set last year with a 1,469 pound pumpkin.

SoilSoup is an aerobic compost tea, which contains billions of beneficial microorganisms and can help reduce harmful ones.

Wallace is taking the giant pumpkin on the Martha Stewart show and then to Grand Central Station in New York, where it will be displayed as part of a fundraiser for the New York Food Bank.
SoilSoup in the News
Ohio State University is recognized as having one of the premier agriculture programs in the U. S. (ranked #1 nationally by Community College Week and top ten by U.S. News).

A research team at the O.S.U. Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center studied the effects of applying SoilSoup to winter squash (cucurbita maxima) during the summer of 2004. Research on uncovered plots demonstrated that whereas a control plot produced a marketable yield of 1.5 tons per acre, the plots treated with SoilSoup full-strength produced 2.1 tons per acre.

SoilSoup also produced a higher percentage of marketable fruit. Even at a 1/3 concentration, SoilSoup produced 63.3% marketable fruit versus 42.1% for the control plot. In the covered plot tests, SoilSoup also outperformed every other biological product that was tested.
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY FINDS THAT SOILSOUP SIGNIFICANTLY ENHANCES FRUIT PRODUCTION!
SOILSOUP EARNS "SEAL OF APPROVAL" FROM THE NATIONAL HOME GARDENING CLUB
Citing significant growth and healthier looking plants, the prestigious National Home Gardening Club overwhelmingly endorsed the SoilSoup brewing system by awarding it their "Seal of Approval".

SoilSoup was unanimously recommended by 100% of the member testers of the National Home Gardening Club, which serves some 650,000 avid gardeners. Members gave SoilSoup the highest marks for its ability to increase production of flowers and vegetable yields. Members also cited Soilsoup's ease of use, performance and effectiveness as outstanding features gardeners would find valuable. Most testers said SoilSoup produced noticeably healthier looking plants and "bumper" crops, as well as an "extra boost" in the garden.

SoilSoup provides nutrients that plants need to increase their overall health and vigor and make them much less attractive to pests and diseases. The "good guys" in SoilSoup seem to boost the immune system of plants, helping them fight off insects and diseases.
SoilSoup is the recipient of the American Horticultural Societyís 2004 G.B. Gunlogson Award. This national award recognizes creative new technologies that make home gardening more productive and enjoyable.

Inspired by the potential of compost tea, a liquid form of compost and an earth-friendly replacement for synthetic chemicals. The company developed an innovative easy-to-use product that allow gardeners to purchase fresh, pre-made SoilSoup at local garden centers.

SoilSoup is an aerobically brewed liquid compost solution that contains billions of beneficial soil microorganisms essential for plant health. When applied to the soil around plants, SoilSoup greatly accelerates the breakdown of organic matter, freeing up nutrients that then become available to plants. The microorganisms in SoilSoup also attach to root systems and help plants absorb more nutrients. When applied to plant foliage, SoilSoup has also shown promise in preventing or eliminating certain diseases, such as black spot on roses.
